Meet Our Adoptable Dogs

  • Prince: 4 years old in Lebanon, OH

Prince came to us with his daughter Delilah, and like her, he was a victim of abuse and neglect at the hands of his previous owner. He is 4 years old, neutered, currently residing in Lebanon, OH, and does need a fenced yard.

Here is what his foster mom says about him.

    Meet Prince: The Evolving Superstar!

Prince has truly become a beacon of joy in our home, changing and growing every single day since he arrived! His personality is blossoming, and it’s an absolute delight to witness. We affectionately call him “Static” because he’s always right by our side, seeking out affection and companionship. This charming pup has quickly formed a bond with our dog, often frolicking in the yard together. His puppy energy is evident, though sometimes he doesn’t quite know how to channel it just yet! You should see him in the mornings, bounding around with mini zoomies before he tires out.

Prince thrives in a fenced yard where he feels secure and free to explore. While he’s a bit anxious during walks, he gains confidence when our dog leads the way. Just a heads up—he’s a bit of a bolter at doors, so keep an eye out!

Bath time isn’t his favorite, but he tolerates it well. His skin is healing beautifully, and he’s becoming more comfortable in his own fur. He enjoys nighttime snoozes on the couch, snoring like a freight train, and prefers the floor during the day. Food is a highlight for him—he’s always excited for mealtime and loves his water! Though he isn’t a fan of confinement, we’re working on crate training. He loves being outdoors but is a bit cautious about rain.

He’s starting to engage with stuffed toys, and his playful spirit is beginning to shine. He may not bark much, but he’ll join in when others do. Prince has been a model citizen at home—zero accidents and a polite request when he needs to go out. He loves to chew on paper products, but he responds well to “no” and “leave it.” We’re keeping a close watch on socks, as he recently discovered their allure!

In the car, he’s a bit hesitant but knows it means adventure. Public spaces can be overwhelming for him, but with exposure, we believe he’ll adapt. He’s happiest at home, with big tail wags and gentle nudges for attention. Prince is a foodie at heart, loving a variety of snacks like sugar snap peas, carrots, and even fruits like apples and strawberries! He’s wonderful with our kids and their friends, and he loves watching the world go by while chasing squirrels.

As we watch Prince transform, we’re filled with excitement about his future. Our family has fallen head over heels for him, and we can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next! goes here

  • Quinn: 3 years old in Sterling, CO

We would like everyone to meet Quinn!

She’s a sweet and gentle soul with a heart full of love to give. Quinn is a little shy, and timid when you go for pets and new experiences. Her past has made her cautious but she’s a dog that thrives on affection and care. This loving 3-year-old is being fostered in Sterling, CO and ready for her adoptive family.

She walks beautifully on a leash and adores her daily strolls, where she can explore the world at her own pace. Though still building confidence in her surroundings, Quinn is a quick learner and understands “stay,” “come,” and even the gentle “no ma’am!” Quinn is on a journey of trust, love and discovery. While she’s a little head shy and prefers some space when you reach for her, she is learning to trust. Once she gets to know you, she loves receiving pets and will even reward your patience with the occasional sweet kiss.

Her safe space is important to her- currently she finds comfort in a cozy closet lined with her favorite blankies, where she can retreat when she feels overwhelmed.

Despite her cautious nature, Quinn shows no signs of aggression. This girl is all about the love and is especially fond of treats, food, and of course cheese! While she might hesitate to take food from your hand or eat/drink when you’re nearby, she’s slowly gaining the confidence to enjoy meals in a more relaxed environment.

Quinn is a curious little explorer who loves gazing out the window, keeping an eye on the world around her. However, there’s one thing she’s not fond of – window air conditioners!

With time, patience and lots of love, Quinn will continue on her journey. She will blossom into the confident, happy dog that she’s meant to be.

She’s a quiet, affectionate companion who thrives in a peaceful environment and is sure to form a deep bond with those who give her the space and care she needs.

Please fill out an application for a chance to be the savior for this beautiful soul.

  • Sadie: 8 years young in Carmel, IN

Hi there! My name is Sadie, and I’m an eight-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, located in Carmel, Indiana. I might have started my life in a puppy mill, but I’m here to tell you that my past doesn’t define me. I’m a happy, loving girl who knows how to enjoy life to the fullest. Sure, I’ve got a little arthritis in my joints, but that doesn’t slow me down too much! I’ve got a big heart and a lot of love to give.

I was lucky enough to find my foster family, and let me tell you, I fit right in. I learned the routine of the house pretty quickly, and I’ve gotten along with everyone, including the other dogs. The kids here are so much fun, and I’m especially gentle with the little ones—I just love getting attention from them! And that cat? Well, I just don’t really care about him. He’s cool and all, but I’m all about the humans. I’m a very social girl and love meeting new people—men, women, kids, you name it!

My favorite thing in the world is being right next to my people. I love to lean up against you and just be close. If you’re petting me, I’m in heaven. I’ll happily sit by your side for as long as you’ll let me! I’m also very easy going when it comes to my crate—well, as long as there are tasty treats to make it a bit more fun. I’m a good sport about it, no complaints here. I’m house-trained too! But, I’ll admit, loud noises like washing machines or blasting music make me nervous. I much prefer a quiet, peaceful space.

I’d be the happiest in a calm home with a fenced yard, where I can enjoy the outdoors and be with my people most of the time. If you’ve got a nice fence, I’ll feel safe to roam around; if not, well, I might get startled and try to bolt (I’m just being cautious). But overall, I’m a loyal companion who just wants to be part of your world.

If you’re looking for a sweet, easy going best friend, I’m your girl. I promise you, with me around, there will never be a dull moment—I’m truly a joy to be with (I say humbly.) So what do you say? Best friends forever?!

  • Chloe: 5.5 years old in Axtell, NE

Hi! I am Chloe but my foster mom calls me Tess. When I arrived at my foster home, I didn’t know my name, but I have learned to come by Tess very quickly! I am five years old and I am very petite, weighing in at only 55 pounds!

When I arrived at my current home, I was so scared. Scared of doors, sounds, wind, grass…you name it, I was afraid. I have come a long ways from that scared girl. I have a constant wiggle-butt, I love my foster mom and dad, the other dogs and cats that live here, and I especially love peanut butter!

I have some pretty good manners and really stay in my own lane. I do jump occasionally for a snack I want, but other than that I am very sweet and demure. I have only barked once in two months, and sirens on TV make me howl.

I’m looking for a quiet home without a lot of noise and commotion. My favorite home would have an older, quieter dog about my size to go in and out of the house with me. I love having a soft bed and I really love bones. I like having breakfast and supper on a schedule. I am super well behaved unattended that I do not need a crate. I would like to have a fenced yard to keep me safe. I have learned to love the outside and the grass, so a big space to run would be a dream!

I have been spayed, updated on my vaccines, and I am micro-chipped. If you think I would be a perfect fit for your family, please send your application into the rescue!

  • Mia: 3 years old in Kansas City area

Have you ever wanted a shadow that didn’t judge you and would love you unconditionally? Then Mia is your girl!

Mia is an 80 lb. love who came from a puppy mill situation. She is 3 years old, housebroken, great with kids, dogs, and cats! Mia would do best in a home where she can be part of a pack-as she is still learning the ropes of being a regular dog.

Once you have earned Mia’s trust, you have earned yourself the best shadow there could ever be. She is snuggly, warm, and patient. She loves to sleep on the couch or cuddle up on the bed at night. For longer periods home alone she does best in a large kennel (bigger the better as she has some trauma from being kept in one that was too small for too long).

Mia does have some hesitation when coming inside, but with patience and time she has learned that it’s safe.

She is located in the Kansas City area and ready to meet her forever home. Is it you?

  • Dutch: 3 years old near Houston, TX

Hi future family! I’m Dutch, a 3-year-old neutered BMD/Aussie male with a heart full of love and snuggles! I’m looking for a forever home—or maybe even a foster-to-adopt situation while I finish my heartworm treatment.

I’m a foodie who loves treats, toys, and cuddles! I’m house-trained, kennel-trained, kid-friendly, and curious but gentle with cats. I’m learning new tricks like “sit” and working on being my best self. I’d love a fenced yard to explore safely and a family to shower with kisses.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving shadow, I’m your guy! Apply to meet me today!

  • Family ready, adoptable, Bernese mountain dog

Billie: 3 years old in Middletown, OH

Hi everyone… I’m Billie, but my foster family lovingly refer to me as Marley, which I know and respond to! They named me Marley Jean and they always tell me how pretty I am and that I’m such a good girl. I’m a young, spunky, 3-year-old female Bernese Mountain Dog and I currently live in Middletown, OH. On August 19th, I was picked up from my previous home. I had no idea why I was leaving or where I was going. I wasn’t used for puppies and I had been a family pet. The nice lady that picked me up- then picked up 3 other dogs that looked just like me! We were all wondering where we were going. I wasn’t really sad to leave my former life, but I was anxious and worried about what was going to happen next.

I’ve been with my foster family since the same day I was picked up. I’m thankful to have had this time to decompress and learn what it’s like to be a part of a family. I currently live with my fosters and their 3 kids (11, 9, and 7.) They have all become my absolute best friends! They put bows in my hair so I could go out trick-or-treating with them! I’m a patient lady! I ALWAYS want to be where they are because they are so much fun. I have two other BMD friends to play with.

I love going on walks! The kids like to take me on walks when they get home from school. I look forward to it every day. I don’t bark much. My favorite snack is cheese. I love being petted and kissed. If you stop petting me, I will take my nose under your hand to let you know that you aren’t done quite yet! I’m scared of men. My foster dad is awesome, but if he is standing or walking towards me to pet me, I get scared and will yelp. If he’s sitting though, I will gladly snuggle up next to him. I’m getting spayed soon! Please apply for me!
