Meet Our Adoptable Dogs

Ashley 3 y/o in Auburn, IN
💛🐾 Meet Ashley – The Gentle Collector with a Big Heart 🐾💛
Ashley is a sweet, curious soul who has blossomed beautifully in her foster home. She loves having a yard to explore—her current 3–4 ft fence has kept her safely contained—and delights in running, prancing, and rolling in the grass, especially in the cool morning air. She’s even been caught sneaking a nap in the flower beds. 🌸
✨ Personality & Play
A true “collector” — gathers toys, blankets, shoes, and bones to her bed (not to chew, just to keep close) 🧸💛
Enjoys zoomy spins, chasing her tail, and giving long, loving stares
Adores her foster dog brother and would be happiest with another dog in the home to keep her company and guide her
🐕 Around People & Animals
A little shy, but greets visitors politely with gentle sniffs or a small lick before wandering off
No barking or jumping when meeting new people
Hasn’t met children up close yet but watches them with interest through the fence
Curious about other dogs on walks but doesn’t bark at them
🏡 Everyday Life
Fully house-trained and signals to go out with a little morning whine
Rides quietly in the car and enjoys pup cups ☕🐶
Will potty on-leash but walks slowly in unfamiliar areas
Not strongly food motivated but will work for hot dogs 🌭
💖 Temperament
Can startle easily—first reaction is to freeze or retreat, but curiosity soon wins out (even with the vacuum!)
Hesitant with men at first, but comfortable being petted and brushed (tail is sensitive)
🌟 Her Transformation
From a shy, unsure pup to a happy, playful companion, Ashley has made incredible progress. She now enjoys playtime, seeks affection, and spends her days exploring instead of hiding. She’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and love to her forever home.

Delilah & Lexi 6 y/o in Virginia Beach, VA
💛🐾 Meet Delilah & Lexi – Bonded Bernese Sisters 🐾💛
Delilah and Lexi are a bonded pair of 6-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog sisters looking for a forever home together. They balance each other beautifully—Delilah is the outgoing shadow who wants to be everywhere you are, while Lexi is the quiet, gentle soul who finds comfort in designated safe spots.
They’ve been through a lot but are making wonderful progress in foster care. These girls deserve a calm, patient home that can give them love, stability, and the chance to continue blossoming side by side.
✨ About Delilah
Easy-going and friendly with everyone 🥰
Gets along with other dogs and gentle with children
Extremely people-oriented—will follow you everywhere (bathroom, laundry room, even the shower!)
Doesn’t like being left alone for long periods
Loves car rides, walks, and being by your side
Enjoys playtime with other dogs and gets the zoomies (briefly)
Escape artist—can get past gates and dislikes confinement in small spaces
Counter-surfer—keep food and edible items off counters
Needs prompt poop pickup as she may occasionally show interest in stool
✨ About Lexi
Sweet, gentle girl who likes having safe, quiet zones 🌸
Never barks and generally keeps to herself but likes to stay in the same room with you
Benefits from other dogs in the home for guidance and companionship
Shows affection once she feels safe; not immediately cuddly but loyal in her own quiet way
Does not signal to go outside—needs a leash to guide her outdoors to prevent accidents
Prefers being inside with her people; frightened outdoors and only goes out to potty
Has loose stools unless fed pumpkin with meals
Not interested in playing but likes being near people indoors
Gentle with children but thrives in a quiet home
Petrified of doors—needs them kept wide open to move comfortably; may dart if startled
🏡 Ideal Home for Delilah & Lexi
Must adopt together (bonded pair)
Quiet, patient household with humans home often
Secure fencing and safe environment (Delilah is an escape artist, Lexi is door-shy)
A family that understands they’ll need time, reassurance, and gentle routines
Children are fine as long as they are respectful and calm
💖 These sisters are shadows in the best sense—they’ll follow you with love, curl up near you, and bring double the warmth to your home. Delilah will shower you with attention, while Lexi will quietly remind you that love doesn’t always need words (or barks).
